Bob's Mom & Sister are coming for a visit!!! We are very excited!!
They will be here on the 25th~flying in from Florida and will stay for a week~they haven't been up this way in years~anyway we are all excited!!! Bob's Mom just turned 80 this past Jan~but you wouldn't know it~she is one spunky lady!!
THATS GOT TO BE EXCITING!! YOU ALL WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME, AND THEY WILL GET TO SEE CHARLIE. TELL MAMAW I SAID HELLO,I STILL REMEMBER WHEN ME AND TONI WENT TO HER HOUSE WITH YOU AND BOB,ALL THOSE YEARS AGO, WHERE WAS THAT,WHITEBURG,KY? I REMEMBER THERE BEING A TOWN CALLED HAZZARD TOO. WHAT A LIFE-TIME AGO. ANYWAY, HAVE A GOOD VISIT.
Yeah Barb that was a long time ago~do you remember the out-house and the well where they got their water! Talk about hard times~people today don't know hard times~not the younger generation anyway!
YES, I DO REMEMBER THE OUT HOUSE,JUST LIKE LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, EXCEPT IT WAS THE HOLLAR, ISN'T THAT WHAT THEY CALL IT? I REMEMBER GOING TO FORT KNOX TOO, WHEN BOB WAS IN THE SERVICE, YOU GUYS HAD AN APARTMENT THERE.CAN'T REMEMBER TOO MUCH ELSE ABOUT IT THOUGH.
What u mean younger generation dont know hard times haha its not our fault that technology has come such a long way since back then...back when about 1920 hahahaha good thing i dont have to use outhouse i would rather use a depend haha course they prob didnt have those back then either lol
Actually~I should have said anyone that didn't live the way your Dad did when he was a boy~and Mamaw worked so hard back then~hauling water from the well~heating with just wood or coal~taking baths in a wash tub in front of the fire place~man I wouldn't want to do that and wouldn't wish it on anyone either~I'll bet that there are still people that do live like that and even in worse conditions all around the world! Guess we are very blessed for the most part here in the good ol' USA! I'm counting my blessings!!!
