I set this blog up with the hopes of creating a special place to share all the wonderful small and large events in our lives with each other! Alex~we (Bob & I) didn't get to know you and only saw you probably 2-3 times while you were here but we wish you all the best as you leave to go back home. We hope that your time here was enjoyable as well as educational~hopefully you'll keep in touch with Mike,Angie,Brooke & Brandon. Maybe some day you'll come back for a visit! Sorry that the Gibson/Emigh families couldn't make it up for the going away party~hope someone took pic's and will post them. I'm sure everyone had a good time!
Alex is a sweetheart! I am so glad that her mom and sister got to come up for the party. They are such a nice family and I wish them all the best!!!! We will miss you Alex!!!!
I am a little behind in responding to this but oh well.... Alex was the best student we had so far. I think she ruined any chance of us getting another one because she was so great. We can't wait until they come to our house next year. We hope to go to Germany in 2010 for Christmas. I loved her sister too. I wish I could have them every year for the summer. We still talk every week to her and her sister, and brother too. I told them if he wants to come here on exchange, we will take him!! (He's 15 now) That would be cool for Brandon. They already talk on the computer (on Skype) and share jokes. It's cute.
