Pictures from my 2-day bike ride from Chicago to Michigan
I conned my sister in going with me on this adventure and we had a blast. Thank God we meet people on the way to help us with our flats, or we'd still be in Chicago. (We had 3 in all). We rode 100 miles and can't wait until next year, when Mike joins us.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU AND JEN HAD A GOOD TIME, DESPITE THE FLAT TIRES.WERE THOSE GUYS FRIENDS BEFORE OR AFTER THEY FIXED THE FLATS? YOU KNOW, YOU COULD OF DROVE THERE IN A COUPLE HRS!! JUST KIDDING.
Was this a group thing or you just decided to do it on a whim? And what did you do at night and was there a bike trail or did you ride in the streets? Looks like a good time weather permitting. 100 miles sheesh I am almost up to 6 a day lol but it's a start
I've wanted to do this for 2 years and finally got someone to do it with me. We rode to a bed and breakfast in Beverly Shores, IN for the night. We didn't know anyone when we started and by the end we knew almost everyone by name. There were 160 people and everyone was so nice.
Holy Molely~Wow what a ride~I can hardly make it around the drive way these days~sure sounds like a lot of fun~maybe you can get a bunch of the family to join you next time! When we're out camping we often see alot of bikers stopping at the parks in the course of their rides~they travel some pretty good distances too! You have to be in good shape to do a ride like that~way to go Angie!

Well did you sign up for this somewhere and was it on a trail? Maybe I might be up for this next year - big maybe
Go to www.letourdeshore.com and you can get info on it. There are a lot of trails and some road riding. It's safe for the most part.
