One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin' rain... and big ol' fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath.

HOW DID EVERYONE MAKEOUT? ANYONE GET FLOODED ANY FLOOD STORIES? HOPE EVERYONE GOT THROUGH IT OK - OF COURSE WE KNOW MIKE MADE THE MOST OF IT!

Well all that rain was a good test for our basement~we now know that it doesn't flood out~there was alot of flooding in the area~South Bend got hit pretty bad~power out & some schools closed~we lost power for several hours but that's it!

Mike is such a geek~rain sledding~the video's were so funny!Mike looks like alittle kid out there~what fun!
We finally got our power back on late monday night, got knocked out sunday at 1 pm, we didnt get much rain but hurricane force winds for about 3 or 4 hours, trees and power lines were down everywhere. the boys havent had school all week, they have a 2 hr delay tommorrow,
Boy Kelly sounds you guys really got hit good! It just amazes me how a hurricane hundreds of miles away can still cause so much damage~can't imagine what all those people in the Gulf states are dealing with!
Forrest Gump indeed! Wow Kelly we lost power for about 7 or 8 hours thought that was bad enough....could never have lived in the pioneer days!!!
YEAH AND THE WORST PART IS WHEN THE TV GOES OUT! OMG!

By The way... America's Funniest Home Videos called us about Mike's video... I sent it to them as a picture though so they asked me to send it in video form. Mike was so excited!!! Waiting to hear if they are interested after they see the video. :-)
