Come Jan the 1st Black President will be sworn in. History has been made! Now we'll see what this man is made of & what it means for our Country!
I hope he does what he said he'd do. It's going to be tough. Last night was so emotional. It was a great night. Even Alex emailed me about Obama. She said Europe and Asia were behind Obama becoming President. Interesting to hear from someone on the other side of the world following our politics.
Actually Angie I hope he doesn't do all that he said he'd do~we don't want a socialistic country~we have our problems but can't solve them that way! Well we are low income~I suppose if he wants to spread the wealth around he can send some my way!!!! The world always pays close attention to our politics~we are after all the greatest country in the world~Obama needs to lead from the middle not the left or right! McCain is still in the Senate and he will still work hard for all of us!I just hope & pray that Obama is up to the task and surrounds himself with the best of both repubs & dems! God Bless America
CONGRATS TO ALL THE Obama SUPORTERS, AND I HOPE HE WINS THE REST OF US OVER-SINCE HE SAID HE'D BE OUR PRESIDENT TOO!IT DEFINITELY IS HISTORY, BUT I HOPE IT DIDN'T END LAST NIGHT,I HOPE HE DOES SOME GOOD THINGS FOR THIS COUNTRY.
THANKS! I JUST VOTED FOR THE GUY WITH THE BEST TEETH. NO JUST KIDDING- I REALLY WENT FOR THE BEST LOOKING SUIT AND WHITE SHIRT- AGAIN KIDDING- REALLY IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE OUR CHILDREN NEED A BETTER FUTURE - THIS IS AFTER ALL THE "UNITED " STATES OF AMERICA WHICH IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE- I THINK THE YOUNGER GENERATION IS FINALLY GETTING IT RIGHT!
I realize other countries watch our politics but maybe instead of watching to attack us, they can watch and be united with us. Or at least less against us. When I first read your comment, Nance, I thought you said a scholastic country!! LOL!! I thought, well why not? I'm such an idiot sometimes!!
I don't think that other countries watch us to attack us~unless it is a terrorist country and in that case Obama won't make any difference. I do however feel that many people voted for the fine speaker Obama is and for the history making rather than the office of President, also it was just simply a vote against Bush. Of course I will support our new President and pray he does a good job! But I will say that while Bush made many mistakes he has also done much good~Congress has done as much damage if not more than Bush. The left wing media and far left loons have been after Bush from the get-go! I don't think a President has been so hated since Lincoln!!!!! Anyway those are my thoughts on this election cycle~on to the next!!!!!
